The Business Situation
The evolution of the internet as an advertising medium created a vision of exact science advertising whereby advertisers could present their message, brand or product in front of real people who are their exact and intended audience, up to nine levels of specificity while maintaining consumer privacy. For the consumer, since they are the reason for and the value of the advertisers, they should share in the advertising dollar spent on them. The company’s challenge was to create an environment where everyone wins - the advertiser who pays only to present to a real audience which matches the demographics of their clients' products and services, and the consumer, who is rewarded for their time on the internet while interacting only with ads relevant to them.
LevelOne’s Engagement
LevelOne worked side-by-side with the CEO and founder, and other key personnel to help refine the vision and strategize the execution. LevelOne was engaged on several fronts to develop and validate the advertising model and relationships, develop channel models with a payout structure for each separate channel and a payout for consumers. LevelOne also validated the product through advertiser and consumer testing. LevelOne is also engaged is setting up partnerships within each channel.
Results
LevelOne received commitment from 20 of the top 25 advertising agencies to participate in the advertising exchange model to be opened once the population achieves critical mass. LevelOne is currently assisting in developing the channels with emphasis on the non profit sector.
